Our cadet section is open to anyone between the ages of 8 and 17.
At present we cannot offer regular cadet training sessions, however occasional Sunday morning training sessions will take place between 10:00 to 12:00 with cadet members advised of dates in advance.
Otherwise, cadet members can take part in our regular club sailing sessions on Sunday afternoons and Wednesday evenings. We encourage cadets to take part in club racing but they can also use these times for general sailing when safety cover is in place.
Please note that parents / carers are required to assist their cadet in setting up and then packing away boats and equipment.
Cadet membership is £50 for the year, plus a £50 fee to use club boats if you do not have your own. We would encourage anyone who is interested to try a few sessions on a temporary basis before committing to joining.
